Password change and verification

Step Commands Description

BOOT#

BOOT# config

BOOT(config)#

Enter the boot loader command

mode.

BOOT(config)#

BOOT(config)# password abcd abcd

Enter the new password twice to

change the password.

BOOT(config)#

BOOT(config)# exit

BOOT#

Exit from the boot loader command

mode.

BOOT#

BOOT# show password

Password = ”abcd”

BOOT#

Verify the newly configured password.

the IP address assigned on

the Ethernet interface 0.0.

Assign the IP address to the

interface.
